Are you serious? Only 2 days left for the practical training before I actually finish it on Friday and get back to Kuantan on Sunday. Monday I’ll have class to go. Give me time to rest! But… no. That’s the schedule. Don’t grumble.
It has been a very short 3-month period spent doing the practical training in Pathology Department of Banting Hospital. I mean, ya. Seriously short. Only those doing training there would know and understand what I am talking about.
The staffs are very nice. They’ve been very cooperative yet friendly teachers and to an extent friends and family. It’s hard to leave them and get back to study for another 2 semesters, but then again, that’s the schedule. And not to forget other students from other universities, you rock guys!
To not forgetting them, they are En. Yusfairuz and Cik Parvathy the Science Officers, Encik Safri, Encik Sam, Encik Rosli, Puan Asmah, Cik Shidah, Encik Nordin, Puan Tumidah (won’t forget the day you cry when you told a story about HIV patient to me) Kak Umi, Puan Hamidah, Puan Kamariah, Puan Rohana, Encik Norli, Kak Intan and Puan Azimah. Owh yes, not to forget Encik Gui Yak Joo who has moved to Klang when I was in the fourth weeks in the lab.
Meanwhile, the rockin' students are Azman from UiTM, Wawa from UM, Shariffuddin, Nora, Raja Azren, Shantarubini, Aruna, Punitha and Poongkothai (Bunga) from PTPL, Tharshini, Dhlogees, Ritha, Janarthanan, Hamizah and Nawar from Unisel. Not to forget those who I’ve known but “graduated” from the lab earlier including Sivaguru, Sri Devan and Nadhirah. To add more are other staffs that went in and out of the lab – you never disappoint me with your attitudes. We share laughter and joy together. Haha...
I recommend those who want to do practical training in lab thingy to do it there in Pathology Department of Banting Hospital. Other than the point above, I can guarantee you this: you could highly probably have increased your body weight once you finish doing the practical training there. Why? Because the culture in the department is that sharing is caring. We share foods. Hehe...
But fortunately to me, I know how to balance my diet in order not to gain even a kilogram of it insha Allah. I started doing the practical training with my weight 81kg (based on the scale in the lab) and now it is still 81kg. Syukur~
Like today: we did a farewell makan-makan (read: party) for the staffs and the foods served is like for 50 people while there are only around 30 of us including staffs and students. Haha... and among the foods is pizza that I cook for my first time and it was quite commendable for a first-timer. I didn’t know that it would be that thick once I baked the pizza thus it ended being a thick-pizza-like-no-others. Haha...
You want the recipe in my style (read: suka hati style)? Wait ah. Wait for the next entry insha Allah...
But one thing to share for now; I've got a booking of
