He's a junior of mine with nickname Aumaan-Anubis. He's strong in characters and stands and you'd certainly like to know him once he starts talking about his background because to me his life's color is sooo unbeatable-ly colorful. I think I'm exaggerating here, eh? Huhu~

So, I wish you, Danial Goon all the best (eheh.. can't use the other term because he doesn't like it) with the blogging world because once you start blogging, that means you are ready to share your thoughts with the world. Goodluck in Exam Wishes

It's a common thing nowadays to wish friends through SMS in any occasions or occurrences. I am also one of those who loves to wish my friends, not only through SMS but also verbally. I love and appreciate it when I got replies after I forward my wish.

I intended to go find newspaper outside the campus. The night before, I parked my car in front of the cafe, which wasn't really something that I usually did.

From afar, I saw a big notice pasted on the front mirror. Aite, summoned? Parking car in front of the cafe is not allowed anymore or something?

We had the final meeting, a post mortem for the SCIENCESS 07/08. Prior to that, we were to fill in a form to give our opinions towards each other.

Angklung Performance in AGD

Yes. I was on the stage twice.

One for the singing, and earlier to that was this angklung performance. It was a debut for such performance in IIUM Kuantan Campus and we were proud to perform it in Kuantan.

From what I've been informed, the Kulliyyah of Science will buy a set of angklung which costs about RM10,000 for the students' cultural activity in the kulliyyah. Wow, that's great! During the performance, I could see the smiling face and eyes of the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs of the kulliyyah. That would be a good start for angklung in Kuantan, I think.

But let's wait until that becomes true in the first hand. Who knows, maybe Angklung Club will be established here in the future?

Playing angklung is not just like shaking it uncoordinatedly. You need intensive trainings with other members of the group and through the trainings, you'll gain a lot of things and most surely, you'll know your friends and teammates more. Don't you agree, members of Angklung Club IIUM Gombak?

Birthday Surprises

ONE

I bought some meals from the cafe to celebrate the birthday with friends and juniors in my room. No cake. I couldn't afford to buy one. Just simple meals would do, I supposed.

Suddenly, I got an SMS from Bad, "Ki, ko kat mane? Aku dah ade kat bilik ko ni"

"Jap jap. Akak ni tengah masak"

When I reached the room, it wasn't only Bad there, but his other friends and of course his twin, Pudin. Out of my knowledge, while I was at the cafe, they were practicing the angklung to play the Happy Birthday song. For a beginner like them, composing such a song so quickly was highly creditable. Then, they played the angklung and while singing the song.

I was speechless and touched.

It was late at the birthday night. We were practicing angklung for a performance this Friday. The door was closed in order not to let others to be annoyed with the sound.

Suddenly the door was knocked.

It was Jay. He came to see us and to see the meals. He didn't take any of them and he left with a signature with the door. Haha...

We continued practicing. We played a medley of Mary had a Little Lamb, Happy Family, London Bridge and You're My Sunshine, Enjit-enjit Semut, Burung Kakak Tua and lastly Joget Pahang. Fuh... What a line of songs!

Suddenly again, the door was knocked.

In some of the SMSes, I found they were quite funny when they mentioned, for instance, Szakif and wife, while they are actually not married yet. Haha... Dah tak sabar-sabar ke nak kawen beb?

Some were very creative in combining Chinese alphabets to make the wishes. Some forgot to delete the name of the sender from which they got the SMS and then they just forwarded it. Agak-agak la nak forward SMS orang pun. Nampak nau tak ikhlas =p

Speaking about sincerity, to me, I wrote my own poem in the SMS that I sent to all my friends. Personally, to me that showed I honestly and unconditionally meant what I mentioned in the SMS. It wasn’t just a forwarded SMS. Well, sincerity shouldn’t be judged by this viewpoint only anyway. Sending SMS is good enough rather than nothing, right?

So, here I rewrite my poem:

Ramadhan dilambai dalam kesedihan,
Syawal disambut penuh kesyukuran,
Maaf zahir batin suatu telahan,
Tulus daripadaku dalam keikhlasan.
