Back to the topic, I don’t know for what exact reason that people search for that word. As far as I know, the name that I opt to be my nickname has no specific meaning. It’s merely a name.
Let me tell how this name first existed.
I have an ex-schoolmate named Thaqif Ilman (pronounce: Saqif Ilman) back to SAMBEST, whom I really adore his name that I couldn’t forget that word for a single day. Out of nowhere, once I know that name of his, it was annoyingly brain-worming! Until one day, I thought I wanted to adopt his name into mine, and make it as my permanent nickname.
Zaki + Thaqif > Zaqif. Erm... Naaah...
Zaki + Thaqif > Thakif. Erm... Kinda weird.
Zaki + Saqif > Szakif. Cool!
Now, how to pronounce my name actually? That has been questioned by many people, and many have tried to pronounce the way they thought to be right. Ok, let me tell you.
Zaki. Read Za-Ki.
Thaqif. Read Sa-Qif.
Combine the two names: Szakif. Read: Za-kif. Not Se-za-kef, as what people always tried to pronounce it in front of me. Huhu... Nice try anyway. :p
So, you must have your own nickname right? Or maybe your own name has got something interesting to share.
- Master J. He isn’t that physically eligible to be called master. :p
- Dammit. To pronounce, Dam-mit, or Dem-it, or what?
- Lady in Blue. She isn’t always in blue, isn’t it?
- Alif zai mim ra. Az-mar I suppose. But I thought your name is Hawa? (no no, I know what it stands for already, Hawa :D)
And how about your name or nickname?
